Which material should I use for car park signs?
For permanent signs, choose 3mm Dibond aluminium composite. It stays flat outdoors, does not rot or rust, and can be drilled for screw fixing. 3.5mm Correx is a lighter, lower cost option for temporary parking arrangements, and 5mm Foamex suits covered or indoor car parks.
What sizes do car park signs come in?
Most designs are portrait A3 (297 x 420 mm), A2 (420 x 594 mm) and A1 (594 x 841 mm). The Caution Entrance Only and Caution Exit Only signs are long strips at 297 x 100 mm, 420 x 150 mm and 594 x 200 mm, which read at about 4, 6 and 8 metres.
Do you make parking signs with left and right arrows?
Yes. Parking, cycle parking and patient drop off signs come in left and right arrow versions, and there are right arrow signs for reception and exits. Order one for each direction you need so drivers are guided from the entrance to the right area.
