Postcards and greeting cards for business and events
A postcard is a flat card that can be posted without an envelope or handed out at a counter. Shops send them to customers, artists sell them, and hotels and venues use them for mailings. Greeting cards are folded and go out at Christmas, on anniversaries or as thank-you notes. Invitations cover weddings, launches, parties and awards nights.
Postcards are available on 350gsm silk card, 250gsm gloss or silk, 300gsm smooth white, natural or textured uncoated, 350gsm recycled uncoated and 300gsm brown kraft, with no lamination or gloss lamination on the front. Greeting Cards are folded cards on 300gsm greetings card, 350gsm silk card or 350gsm recycled uncoated, with optional gloss lamination on the outside and a choice of white or red envelopes in several sizes. Invitations are flat cards on silk, gloss, smooth white, pearl, recycled or kraft card, with no envelopes or white envelopes included.

Greeting card sizes are the folded size, and A5 greeting cards come in portrait or landscape. Uncoated, kraft and recycled cards take pen well, which suits cards you sign by hand. Pearl card has a soft shimmer for invitations. Gloss lamination on the front makes photos look brighter and protects a postcard in the post. Postcards and invitations run from 25 to 2,000, and greeting cards from 25 to 1,000.

Send a print-ready PDF at the finished size with 3 mm bleed on every edge, and keep text at least 3 mm inside the trim. For greeting cards, send flat artwork at the open size with the panels in the right order. Uploaded files get a file check: we look at resolution, size and bleed so the job will print well. What size is a standard postcard?
The usual postcard size is A6, 105 × 148 mm. We also print DL (99 × 210 mm), A5 (148 × 210 mm) and square 148 × 148 mm postcards.
Do greeting cards come with envelopes?
You can add envelopes to greeting cards. The choices are white or red, in DL, C5, C6 and 155 mm square sizes, to match the card size you pick.
Which card is good for writing on?
Choose an uncoated card such as 300gsm smooth white, natural, textured, recycled or brown kraft. Uncoated card takes pen well, which suits thank-you cards and cards you sign by hand.
How do I set up artwork for a folded card?
Send flat artwork at the open size with the panels in the right order and 3 mm bleed on every edge. The artwork guidelines explain how to set up the file.
Can invitations come with envelopes?
Yes. Invitations can be ordered with no envelopes or with white envelopes included. They come in A6, A5 and 148 × 148 mm on a range of cards, including pearl and kraft.
