Choosing car park signs
Think about where the driver is
A driver reads a sign while moving, so size matters more than in a corridor. A3 reads at about 12 m, A2 at about 17 m and A1 at about 24 m. At an entrance off a road, A1 gives drivers time to react. For a sign at the front of a bay, A3 is usually enough.
Use arrows to split traffic
