A printed folder keeps loose papers together and makes a proposal or information pack look finished. Architects, estate agents, recruiters, schools, colleges and event organisers use them for quotes, brochures, contracts, welcome packs and delegate handouts.
Presentation Folders come in A5 with a 5 mm spine, or A4 with no spine, a 4 mm spine or a 5 mm spine, on 350gsm or 400gsm silk card. Interlocking Presentation Folders are made from one piece of card with slotted pockets that lock together, on 350gsm silk card. They offer the widest choice of formats: DL with a 6 mm spine, A5 with no spine or a 3 mm spine, and A4 with no spine or a 3, 4, 5 or 10 mm spine.
Both types can be printed on the outside only, or on the outside and inside, and both offer business card slots.

The spine sets how much the folder holds. No spine suits a few sheets. A 3 to 5 mm spine takes a thicker pack, and the 10 mm spine on A4 interlocking folders takes a small brochure as well as loose sheets. An A4 folder takes A4 sheets, and an A5 folder takes A5 sheets or A4 folded in half.
Lamination protects the folder from scuffs and fingerprints. Matt gives a soft, flat look, and gloss makes colours look brighter. Starting at 10 folders means you can order a short run for one pitch.

Send a print-ready PDF at the finished size with 3 mm bleed on every edge, and keep text at least 3 mm inside the trim. Folders are printed flat, so set your artwork up as the flat folder with the pockets and folds in the right place. Uploaded files get a file check: we look at resolution, size and bleed so the job will print well.
