Business cards for every kind of business
A business card is still the quickest way to leave your name and number with a customer. Trades hand them over after a quote, shops drop them into bags, and consultants pass them across the table. This range covers everyday cards and heavier, more tactile ones.
Business Cards are the everyday option: 85 × 55 mm on 350gsm or 450gsm silk card, with no lamination or a matt, gloss or soft touch finish. Square Business Cards use 350gsm silk or 350gsm recycled uncoated card. Textured Business Cards and Recycled Business Cards come in 85 × 55 mm or 55 × 55 mm. Uncoated Business Cards offer brown kraft, textured, recycled, smooth white and natural card, with square or rounded corners.
For a heavier feel, Triplex Business Cards are 810gsm with a coloured core in one of eleven colours between white or kraft outer layers. Metallic Foil Business Cards add gold, silver, copper or red foil with soft touch lamination, and Spot UV Business Cards add a raised gloss layer on one or both sides. Plastic Business Cards are 86 × 54 mm white PVC, up to credit card thickness. Creative Paper Business Cards use woven bamboo, hemp blend, textured linen, pearl, cotton or kraft.

If you write on your cards, for appointment times for example, pick an uncoated card. Soft touch lamination has a velvety feel and protects the print.

Send a print-ready PDF at the finished size with 3 mm bleed on every edge, and keep text at least 3 mm inside the trim. Several products can be laid out online with the Design it online button, and what you approve on screen is exactly what we print. Uploaded files get a file check: we look at resolution, size and bleed so the job will print well. Turnaround and delivery
Everything here is made to order by our UK production partner. Turnaround depends on the card. Each product page shows the live turnaround for Saver, Standard and Express, counted in working days to dispatch after your artwork is confirmed. Plastic, foil and triplex cards take a few days longer, and each product page shows its own times. What size is a business card?
The standard UK business card is 85 × 55 mm. Square cards are 55 × 55 mm, available on textured, recycled, foil and triplex styles, and plastic cards are 86 × 54 mm in landscape or portrait.
Should I choose 350gsm or 450gsm?
Both are silk card with a smooth surface and a low sheen. 450gsm is thicker and stiffer in the hand. 350gsm is the usual everyday weight and suits most businesses.
Can I write on my business cards?
Choose an uncoated card such as kraft, natural or smooth white if you need to write on the card. Uncoated stocks take pen and pencil, while laminated and silk cards are harder to write on.
What is a triplex business card?
A triplex card is 810gsm, made from three layers pressed together. The middle layer is coloured, in one of eleven colours, so a thin line of colour shows around the edge. The outer layers are white or kraft.
