For large items read from a distance, 100 to 150 dpi at the finished size is enough. At 100 dpi a 1000 × 1000 mm design needs about 3,937 × 3,937 pixels. Logos and text are best as vector artwork, which stays sharp at any size. Photos taken from websites or social media are usually far too small; our file check flags images that may print soft.

Yes. A person from our team checks every uploaded file for size, bleed and resolution, and tells you if something needs fixing before anything is made. If you design online instead, you approve exactly what you see on screen, and that is what we print. We print what you supply, so check spelling, phone numbers and dates yourself too. A PDF at the finished size is best, with fonts embedded or converted to outlines. We also take AI, EPS and SVG, and high resolution JPG, PNG or TIFF files. Yes. When you order printing with a design made in our online designer, the high resolution PDF is attached to your order, and once the order is paid you can download it from My Account and your confirmation email. If you only want the file and no printing, approve the design and buy the print-ready PDF for £9.99. It is digital content, so the right to cancel ends once the download starts. The quantity is part of the options: from 1 up to 1000 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 and more). Supply CMYK where you can. RGB files are converted to CMYK for print, which can make very bright greens, blues and oranges look slightly duller. If you need a brand colour matched, give us the Pantone reference and we match it as closely as the material allows. Small differences between a screen and the printed item are normal, because screens give off light and print reflects it. Check it when it arrives. If anything is damaged or missing, tell us within 48 hours with photos of the item and the packaging, through the contact form or on WhatsApp, with your order number. Do not send anything back until we reply; we then arrange a reprint or a refund. This does not affect your legal rights, which the returns page explains.
