Oversize delivery charge
When a banner or board counts as oversize, how the £15 is added once per order, which Correx items are exempt and how large items travel.

The oversize delivery charge is a flat £15, added once per order, when your basket contains a banner longer than 3 m on any side or a rigid board larger than A0. It does not multiply: one oversize banner or five in the same order still adds £15 in total. It pays for the specialist courier that long and wide items need, and the basket shows it before you pay.
What counts as oversize #
There are two rules, one for flexible items and one for rigid ones. Both are measured from the size you choose on the product page, and custom sizes are checked the same way as listed sizes.
Banners, mesh and fabric
A banner is oversize when its longest side is over 3 m (3000 mm). The other side does not matter. A 9 ft 10 in × 6 ft 7 in (3000 × 2000 mm) banner is exactly 3 m long, so it is not oversize. A 10 ft × 3 ft (3048 × 914 mm) banner is 48 mm over, so it is.
Rigid boards and signs
Correx, Foamex, Dibond and other printed boards are oversize when they will not fit inside an A0 sheet (841 × 1189 mm), either way round. The width matters as much as the length here. A 700 × 1000 mm board fits inside A0 and is not oversize. A 1000 × 1000 mm board is only 1 m long, but at 1000 mm wide it is wider than A0, so it is.
What the rule does not cover
The charge only applies to banners and rigid boards. Roller banner stands, flags, stickers, posters and stationery are not measured against it.

Street Correx is exempt #
Some Correx products are long by design but pack and travel differently, so they have no oversize delivery charge at all. These are fence top signs (3410 × 525 mm), A1 Correx triangle signs, lamp-post wraps and toblerone signs, and bollard covers. You can find them together under street and event Correx. A fence top sign is over 3 m long, but you only pay the normal delivery for it.
How the £15 is added to your order #
- Once per order. Two 4 m banners and an 8 ft × 4 ft hoarding board in one basket still add £15, not £45.
- On top of the delivery rate. UK mainland delivery is £7.95 per order, so an order under £99 with an oversize item pays £22.95 for delivery.
- Also on free-delivery orders. When your goods total is £99 or more after discount codes, the normal £7.95 is free but the £15 still applies. The delivery line reads “Free UK mainland delivery + oversize courier £15”.
- With the Highlands surcharge. Mainland Scottish Highlands postcodes add £10 once per order as well, so the two can appear together.

Can you avoid the oversize delivery charge? #
Sometimes, but only change the size if the new size still does the job. A banner that is too short for the fence it hangs on is a worse buy than paying £15.
- Check whether 3 m is enough. If you picked 10 ft × 3 ft (3048 × 914 mm) for a space that is really 3 m wide, a 3 m × 1 m banner fits the space and ships at the normal rate.
- Split one long banner into two. Two 2 m banners hung side by side can cover a 4 m railing. It works for separate messages (a logo on one, a phone number on the other). It does not work well for one continuous design, because the join will show.
- Turn a board to fit A0. If you need about 1 m of height on a board, 1000 × 700 mm or 1000 × 500 mm ships at the normal rate, while 1000 × 1000 mm does not.
- Combine oversize items. If you need several large items, order them together. The charge is per order, so one order costs less than two.

How large items travel #
Oversize items go by a courier set up for long parcels. Large banners are rolled and packed in long boxes, and big rigid panels such as hoarding boards can travel on a pallet. Courier delivery usually takes 1 to 3 working days after dispatch, and we email tracking when the order leaves us.
Plan for the delivery itself too:
- Someone should be available to sign for the delivery.
- Add a note at checkout if the address has access limits, such as a site gate with set opening times or no room for a large vehicle.
- A long box or a stack of 8 ft × 4 ft panels can be awkward for one person. The HSE manual handling guidance is worth a look if you are unloading heavy panels on site.
- Open and check the parcel soon after it arrives. Report any damage within 48 hours with photos.
Northern Ireland, islands and quoted areas #
The oversize delivery charge is a UK mainland price. Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Wight are quoted before you order, and the quote covers large items too.
