A printed rigid sign is the everyday workhorse of signage. It can hang on a wall, fix to railings, stand on an easel or sit on a counter. This range has 32 products grouped into five sections: business signs, Correx boards, Foamex and Dibond boards, event and welcome boards, and counter and menu displays.
Most products use one of three board types, set up for a particular job, so you can pick the one that sounds like your use and the right material options are already there.

Foamex and Dibond boards can have gloss or matt lamination on one side. Most boards can be drilled at the top corners or all corners, printed single or double sided, and profile cut to the shape of your design.

How to choose a printed sign
Where will it go, and for how long?
Indoors, or outside for a few weeks: Foamex. Outside for the long term: Dibond, which stays flat and does not rot or rust. Outside for weeks or months on a budget: Correx, which is waterproof and light. Our Foamex, Dibond or Correx guide goes into more detail.
How will you fix it?
Choose corner drilling for screws or cable ties. Foamex can also be fixed with pads. Fix Correx firmly, through drilled holes or in a frame, so it does not flap in the wind.
Artwork tips for rigid signs
- Add 3 mm bleed on every edge and keep text at least 10 mm inside the trim.
- For small signs read close up, supply 300 dpi at full size, or vector artwork.
- As a rough guide, allow about 25 mm of capital letter height for every 3 metres of viewing distance.
- For a profile cut sign, supply a clear vector outline of the shape if you can.

Sign production times and delivery
Foamex and Correx boards have standard production of 3 working days, express 2 and saver 5. Dibond takes 6 working days as standard, express 5 and saver 8. Some sized products differ, so check the option you choose. Times count from when your order and artwork are confirmed.
UK mainland delivery is £7.95 per order and free on orders of £99 and over (goods total after discounts). Oversize items (banners over 3 m on any side, boards larger than A0) add £15 per order. Mainland Scottish Highlands add £10 per order. The Scottish islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly are quoted, so contact us before ordering.
Every sign file is checked before print, and because we are not VAT registered, no VAT is added.

Should I choose Foamex, Dibond or Correx?
Choose Foamex for indoor signs and short-term outdoor use, Dibond for signs that stay outside for years, and Correx for temporary outdoor signs on a budget. If you are unsure, tell us where the sign is going and for how long, and we will recommend a board.
What sizes can printed signs be made in?
Most boards come in A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0, plus 500 × 700 mm, 600 × 600 mm, 700 × 1000 mm, 1000 × 500 mm, 1000 × 1000 mm, and 20 × 30 in and 30 × 40 in. Some products offer a shorter list.
Can signs be drilled for fixing?
Yes. Most boards can be drilled at the top corners or at all four corners, ready for screws or cable ties. Choose the drilling option on the product page before adding the sign to your basket.
Can I have a sign cut to a custom shape?
Yes. Choose profile cut in the options and the board is cut to the outline of your design. A clear vector outline of the shape in your artwork makes the cut line easy to follow.
Is VAT added to sign prices?
No. We are not VAT registered, so the sign price shown in the configurator is the price you pay for the goods. Delivery is worked out separately at checkout.
