Yes. You can upload your file on the product page, or place the order and upload later: we email you after you order. Your designer can send the file to us by email or WhatsApp with your order number, so it does not have to come through you. The turnaround clock starts once your order and artwork are confirmed, so send the file early if you have a deadline. On a 6 ft × 3 ft (1829 × 914 mm) banner, keep text 50 mm in from every edge, which leaves about 814 mm of height to work with. A single headline in capitals 240 mm tall reads from roughly 29 m away, using the sign-trade rule of thumb of 25 mm of capital height for every 3 m of viewing distance. Fewer words, bold fonts and strong contrast read further than more words squeezed in.

A PDF at the finished size is best, with fonts embedded or converted to outlines. We also take AI, EPS and SVG, and high resolution JPG, PNG or TIFF files. Word, PowerPoint and Canva files are fine as a starting point, but export a full-quality PDF if you can. For large items read from a distance, 100 to 150 dpi at the finished size is enough. At 100 dpi a 9 ft 10 in × 6 ft 7 in (3000 × 2000 mm) design needs about 11,811 × 7,874 pixels. Logos and text are best as vector artwork, which stays sharp at any size. Photos taken from websites or social media are usually far too small; our file check flags images that may print soft.

Yes. When you order printing with a design made in our online designer, the high resolution PDF is attached to your order, and once the order is paid you can download it from My Account and your confirmation email. If you only want the file and no printing, approve the design and buy the print-ready PDF for £9.99. It is digital content, so the right to cancel ends once the download starts. Only delivery is added. The goods price you see in the calculator is final, with no VAT added. Let it dry completely, wipe off any dirt, then roll it loosely with the printed side facing out, around a tube if you have one. Avoid folding it hard, which leaves creases and can crack the print along the fold. Keep it somewhere dry and away from heat. Remove old cable ties before you roll it so they do not dent the print. Use warm water with a little mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse with clean water and let it dry flat or hanging. Do not use solvents, abrasive pads or a pressure washer, which can lift the ink or damage the surface. Dry it fully before you roll it up, or it can mark and smell.
